Our Core Programming
Our core programming runs every Tuesday and Wednesday from
11:00 AM to 1:15 PM
Lower Elementary Core Program
Students will explore a variety of unit studies in the areas of chemistry, physical science, and biology. Using art, engineering, and movement, along with traditional educational methods, students will work together to explore big ideas, make connections, and think critically about the world they live in.
Upper Elementary/Middle School Core Program
Students will take an in-depth approach to exploring fundamental scientific principles of the three major branches of science: chemistry, physical science, and biology. Content is challenging, encourages scientific inquiry, and focuses on real-world examples. The course is designed for maximum student engagement with regular lab experiments, engineering and design projects, and art extensions.
2025-2026 Optional Courses
Optional classes are offered as full year courses and can be taken alone or in conjunction with the core DaVinci school program. Discounted pricing is available for students enrolled in the core program.
Social Studies - Ancient History
Journey with us across the globe and witness the rise and fall of early civilizations. Through interactive lessons and engaging activities, students will learn about the geography, art, literature, architecture, and culture of early people from nearly every continent. This course is secular but will discuss religions as cultural features of their respective civilizations.
Writers’ Workshop I
This course will set the foundation for strong writing by examining grammer, usage, and structure of sentences. As students build upon this strong foundation, they will begin to explore a variety of writing styles including narrative, descriptive, expository, persuasive, analytical, and even poetic. Students taking this class MUST be FLUENT readers and capable of writing sentences unassisted.
Unit by Unit
This course is an opportunity to delve deeply into high interest topics in science and social studies. Units will provide many opportunities for hands-on learning while also incorporating art, geography, literature, and physical movement. Students will have the opportunity to submit topics of interest.
Literary Adventures
Encourage early literacy through this fun and engaging course that introduces students to quality
literature in a variety of genres, encourages emerging reading skills, and provides opportunities to work collaboratively to produce simple written works.
Spanish
Students will learn practical, everyday Spanish with an emphasis on speaking.
